Assault

Being charged with an assault can be a daunting experience, with there being many different types of assaults that you can be charged with.  Each range in their seriousness and include:

- Common Assault

- Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm

- Wounding

- Assault Causing Grievous Bodily Harm

- Assault with Intent to Rob

- Acts of Omissions, with or without intent that are likely to endanger or cause bodily harm.

Assaults are rarely straightforward and you may have a defence open to you, such as self defence or provocation.  On the other hand it may simply be that the allegations are false and you want to fight the charge.
